  1. The Comeback: Starring Jace Peterson, Jackie Bradley Jr., and Daniel Robertson whose combined OPS comes up shy of the height of Timms Hill.
  2. It's a weird claim by Glasnow because a UCL tear is an repetitive use injury. It was going to partially or completely tear at some point. It's a total coincidence that it just happened to be when he had to start pitching clean.
  3. JBJ has a .500 ops and makes a lot of money, so everything he does or doesn't do is magnified a lot. Nah, if Taylor made that dive I would've said the same thing. The triple jump over dive basically sums it up.
  4. I don't know why his strikeout rate in AAA back in 2019 is just ignored. He was between 18.1% and 20.9% throughout the minors and it jumped to 26.3% in AAA. That's pretty significant and concerning and it jumped to 30.7% in the majors his rookie year and has only gotten worse.
  5. Good thing he's right handed.
  6. Was it the same player that messed up that force on Baez? Nah, he got DFA'd a day or two ago.
  7. Like, how? I get it if you're hustling for a double or something and you miss the base and don't want to go back and be held to a single or the ball is coming back in by the time you realize it and you'll get in a rundown or something if you turn back but on a homer? Just go back and step on the base. It's not like they can tag you out. Really makes Baez's play seem not that special (which it wasn't) when the Pirates cost themselves runs on home runs.
  8. Yeah and there is no doubt a risk of injury with how old he is but you have to ask yourself, are we better off with a combination of Cain/Taylor/Donaldson or a combination of Cain/JBJ/Shaw. I think we're clearly better off with the former and all it costs is money and a prospect who just underwent TOS surgery. It's also why I don't think the Twins consider it. Twins clearly give up the best player, and have to pay us money on top of it and all they get is an injured prospect low in the minors.
  9. Both teams use Bally. Screenshot it because I guarantee it showed it was a ball.
  10. You might need to get your eyes checked because it didn't show anything close to that.
  11. Batters shouldn't be forced to try to hit a ball at their shins because an old guy can't see the ball.
  12. That's a pretty great way to tell the umpire he sucks without explicitly telling the umpire he sucks by Castellanos lol.
  13. Let's be incredibly optimistic and say he gets another 10 wins this year and gets to 35. He would need to win 11 games a year in his age 32-37 seasons to get to 100. There's no way any of that is happening.
  14. There is ONLY one decision..particularly if it makes it through the 8th..I mean for god's sakes, Whitewater's top 2 starters threw 131 and 141 pitches in their starts last weekend. Whitewater's starters are going to be middle management in 5 years. lol at that comparison.
