  1. Once again TGJ does what's asked of him... really don't get why so many people on here have dogged him.
  2. Brewers hitters have been fairly patient so far this year... then the one guy they need it the most against and it looks like they have totally abandoned the concept.
  3. Wow, Prince looked completely lost in that AB.
  4. +1. Nice to see them extend their bullpen a bit in the process too. Yea, Lou was crying in the post game conference that he needs another pitcher added to their pen.
  5. I actually thought we hit Zambrano better than what the Chart O' Splits shows.... I hope we can get to him.
  6. Nice to see a Scrubbies loss. Going to be a tough series coming up with them.
  7. Brewers WIn Houston Loss Cincy Loss St. Louis - Scrubs tied at 7 (I hope this goes about 20 innings)
  8. This is one of those games where you aren't disappointed with a loss, but a win could be huge.
  9. I started a thread about this as well, but I think the Brewers need to carry another pitcher. We have had quite a few games already where we don't have anyone available because they have thrown the past two days. Send TGJ down, let him get regular playing time, and carry one more pitcher. Jeez, we're this depleated in the pen and we haven't had a starter get knocked out early yet. What happens when we have a guy only go 2 innings. Even if it isn't Capellan, I would be happy to have Sarfate, Spurling, Zumwalt.... any other option other than Aquino
  10. As hot as Mench has been, I let him hit. I've never had a problem with Yost till the last week or so. He's handled the lineups well, but his use of pitching is terrible.
  11. Walk Hart to face Mench???? I don't see the logic there.
  12. Why do you not pinch run for Estrada.... We need that run to score on any single, pinch run Hart and Miller can catch if need be.
  13. In that situation I would go Wise, Turnbow, Cordero ... and hope by that time our offense puts up a run.... .... But that's just me... Ned's the expert
  14. Matt Wise gets the loss.... BA talking about Aquino not giving up a run till the last outing.... He has given up quite a few... a lot that were taged to other pitchers
  15. How gigantic is this guy's strike zone... WOW I'll take it though
  16. Was anyone able to tell what Carlos Lee yelled out to Matt Wise?
  17. I see our friend Mr. Braun is only hiting .280 ___________________ Yep, and with RISP he's hitting .143 and OPS .563 I say send his @&& back to Omaha... and he don't even live there.
  18. 13 ab's! ...i think we can hold off on the worries until he's done that for a few hundred...of course, that is if you believe that hitting with risp is a repeatable talent.. ______________ Where are you getting 13 ab's from? Last time I checked Braun had over 50 ab's this season for Nashville. Like I said, I think he could play now in the majors, just found it odd that he was that low with RISP.
  19. Josh Hamilton with another HR. This time a 3 run shot. And how good has Rich Hill been for the Scrubbies, has his ERA down to 0.53.
  20. I can't wait to see him in a Brewer uniform... but while others are raving about him, I found this interesting: RISP AVG .143 RISP OPS .563 (please use a subject that describes the content of the thread -TC)
  21. St. Louis down to their final 3 outs. Who would have ever thought that on April 19th, Pujols would be below the Mendoza Line.
  22. I'll take 4 hits with one out in the first.
  23. Might get some slack for this statement, but I think this is the best offensive lineup that the brewers can put on the field.
  24. So we've graduated from must-wins to must-sweeps this early? Wow. I'd hate to see what it's like in July...will the Brewers "have" to sweep entire road trips or homestands by then? Well in fairness, it is a mini series. Makes a sweep a little different goal..... But no, I don't think this is a must sweep.
