  1. I think it took a while for MCW to adjust to his new team. They were pretty bad right after the trade and now they still may not be as good as they were before the trade, but they have definitely improved.
  2. Walker plan would have covered the remaining cost. It did assume a certain increase in player salaries over the course of so many years though (thus a larger amount of taxes paid). I think upstate politicians would like to see Milwaukee to invest more in the arena than donating a parking structure, since they will be the municipality that benefits most, especially after seeing how much milwaukee is investing in the street car.
  3. im sorry its not the uniform reveal, its just a logo i think
  4. this seems like a silly exercise but i voted for Yount, Molitor, Cooper, and Gantner. Kept Braun off due to PED controversy and struggling since the NLCS. If he gets healthy and puts up numbers even close to his 2011 season than he obviously will be on the Brewers Mt Rushmore.
  5. Mark A to the rescue? http://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/blog/2015/04/attanasio-says-he-s-ready-to-help-on-new.html?ana=fbk
  6. anyone going to the uniform reveal on Monday? I know its out there, so there isn't much suspense, but I think it would still be pretty cool to be at.
  7. here's the thing...Walker sold his plan as not having a burden on the taxpayers. If that's the case, then why does Milwaukee have to kick in more money? because the #1 beneficiary is Milwaukee. Doesn't make sense for a politician in Stout to have to explain to his constituents on why he voted for a new arena in Milwaukee when Milwaukee didn't help at all, especially after they spent 150 million on a street car. That being said, I really did like the Walker plan, but if the state legislature won't pass it, everyone needs to figure out a way to get it done and soon. time to everyone to put political differences aside and figure out a way that everyone agrees to.
  8. how exactly are there so many leaks of this logo; what kind of amateurs are in their marketing department. I remember in the past when the bucks changed we had an idea on the color but the logo wasn't out 2 weeks before release.
  9. i think the new color scheme could work, but i hate the bucks new font, very cartoonish
  10. I am now 95% sure this is an april fools joke: https://twitter.com/Bucks/status/583356974168834048/photo/1 looks like they just took the current jersey and switched out orange for red.
  11. red is clearly gone, thankfully. i am sure orange is a smoke screen, they wouldn't reveal the colors before the reveal tonight. will be interesting to see if this is legit or a big prank.
  12. Ha, i normally forget, login and see the transaction arrows and get excited, only to see a trade that could only happen in fantasy baseball.
  13. http://behindthebuckpass.com/2015/03/29/green-green-growing-potential-new-colors-milwaukee-bucks-jerseys/ bucks are set to make an announcement tomorrow regarding their new jersey colors; If it turns out to be blue, silver, and cream, i would most likely not be a fan, doesn't fit the nickname "bucks" (just like the memphis grizzlies doesn't seem to fit) I still am wondering if this will be some sort of April fools joke, but i doubt it. Really hoping for double green, green and white, or orange / green. (in that order)
  14. I wonder if Lesnar winning was part of his new contract, seems like Lesnar had all of the cards and could have pushed for that.
  15. I have no idea on how we would pass the hat, but brewerfan.net members can donate online in chad's memory. https://communityfoundation.brewers.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donate.brewers-community-foundation-donations&
  16. Time for some wrestlemania predictions: 1) tag team fatal 4 way = Usos 2) Lesnar vs Reigns = I'll take the beast after resigning with the WWE 3) Sting vs Triple H = Sting 4) Andre the Giant Battle Royal = Mizdow 5) IC ladder match = Bryan 6) Rusov vs Cena = Cena 7) AJ / Paige vs Bellas = Bellas 8) Understaker vs Wyatt = Wyatt 9) Orton vs Rollins = Rollins
  17. For those that haven't listen to his music before, here is his last single (even mentions the brewers in the song) The Saltshakers - Change the Channel by thesaltshakers via #soundcloud
  18. I was a big fan of the local band saltshakers and I know he posted here as "chadomac" and I am saddened to read this this evening from radiomilwaukee's facebook page: We are heartbroken to learn of Chad's passing. Such a good human being and a very sad loss for Milwaukee. Go bust out some Saltshakers tonight. Chad Michael Curtis passed away unexpectedly on March 13th, 2015 at the age of 34. Chad, loving husband to Stephanie Blair Curtis, beloved son of Tom and Deb Curtis, cherished brother of Jen (Bryan) Schnettler, fearless leader of Milwaukee's Saltshakers band and devoted friend to one and all, will be greatly missed by numerous friends, extended family and coworkers. Open visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the funeral home from3PM until 7PM. A short service will begin at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Brewers Community Foundation or the Wisconsin Humane Society would be deeply appreciated.
  19. Henderson's injury and leaving camp makes it a great possibility that Chris breaks camp with the brewers. its too bad that they have to decide a week before camp breaks on where he will end up.
  20. i agree with this, but IMO Peterson or Shafer could be removed, they are similar players; you could also look at someone like Blazek or Hall. Either way you are removing depth for an older player.
  21. rumor is that Sting will be on Raw tonight.
  22. i didn't have too much trouble getting tickets for the Sunday game. i was worried we would have to get pricey tickets down low, but still got 500 level tickets for 23 bucks.
  23. thanks for the advice Bombers. This would make a lot of sense. I have never taken the public transportation to games, but i think this would help us avoid that.
  24. Tickets for Wrigley this season went on sale this morning. Has anyone else purchased tickets today, i have my tickets for May 3rd. I do have a question for those that have been there before. We want to spend the night before in Wrigleyville and then go to the game on Sunday. The couple hotels that i found are very expensive 300+ and have a 2 night minimum. Is there a hotel that isn't too far away that anyone can recommend that is relatively cheap (200 or less) and would let us stay only Saturday night?
  25. you could, even though i'd like to see some longer matches at wrestlemania. it doesn't matter though, Heyman was on last night and assured Lesnar would be there for WM31, and will go where he pleases between now and then.
