Braves' #1 prospect suspended for HGH

Jordan Schafer, ranked #1 in Atlanta's farm system by Baseball America, has been suspended 50 games for using HGH.

After a slow start as a pro, his production picked up dramatically last season - I'll bet I can guess when he started using.

I'm curious as to how they caught him. There is no test for HGH, correct? This is not for the future Andruw Jones replacement.

You are right, there is no test for HGH. From what I heard though, MLB has a 5-man crew that looks into HGH cases. Someone tipped off MLB, so the crew was sent to investigate and found him receiving shipments. I was only half paying attention when they were talking about this, but that's what I recall.
