Prince on the cover of Sporting News

Just got my Sporting News today and Prince is on the cover. Also, pretty good article on Prince and the team inside. Has a great picture of Braun at Wrigley making a catch and has a section called "10 one-of-a-kind facts about a one-of-a-kind team". Good read pick it up if you don't subscribe.

I have been a Sporting News subscriber for over 30 years, and boy did I smile when I saw this in my mail Friday. It's an all-time keeper.

 

If you can't make it out, the byline is "Prince Fielder, vegetarian and 9 other fascinating facts about baseball's most interesting team"

Accoring to someone that has it on ebay it is dated 4-28-08. Does that mean it comes out on stand tomorrow?

In my experience with some other magazines, the date on the magazine is the day that it's supposed to be taken off the newsstand. Someone who has specific knowledge of Sporting News would have a better answer.
