Call me greedy, but I expected no less than two runs in that inning.

I felt the same way but on the other hand I was happy they could get at least one run out of that with how their offense has been struggling lately.

Well on the bright side, we have a run, and we don't even have a hit yet.

We're gonna get no hit. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Maybe that's how he'll decide if Sheets will pitch on Tuesday.

Word in the locker room is that Parra and Bush will play pin the tail on the donkey to determine who gets the rotation spot when Sheets comes back.

Was Gwynn not really running on his way to being tagged out at first base? Bill said something about him going half speed and I didn't see it, can anybody help me out with that?

I'm laughing as they're talking about hitting for the cycle. The answer is pretty obvious to anyone who has watched the Brewers, and these two know it and I think they know that we know who it is. But I get the feeling that they're ripping on the broadcast crew a little bit for such an easy question, doesn't this question come up like 3 times per year at least?

Gwynn was not going full speed. He should have reached on error.

He did make up for it last inning by a great jump on line drive, robbing a single.

Yost literally pulled this lineup out of a hat.

What is different in the lineup? Gwynn was tabbed to play against righties when healthy. Hall and Kendall are given a day off. Counsell has been hitting and Kendall has cooled off and needed a day off. Nothing major in the changes.

Seriously? He went up to Hall last night and told Hall to pull a name out of a hat, it was between him and Weeks for who got the day off and Hall picked his own name out of the hat so he got the day off.

Ok but the lineup is still the same except for two guys getting the day off. For all the business Hall and Weeks have gotten, I wouldnt think having either of them sit as an issue.

unbeknownst to Hall, all the names in the hat were "Hall"s.

Nah, Ned couldnt have come up with that, nevermind. Glad to see Ned is getting smarter about making decisions, however. With this new approach, we can expect to see a 50% probability of him doing the right thing. Comparatively speaking, you gotta like those odds.

Okay and my point is if you're going to give somebody a day off then give them the day off. They're professionals. Don't make them play games and pick a friggin' name out of a hat.

Great block of the plate by Rivera there. He stonewalled him.
