Why I'm not freaking out about the Crew

Posted

I have something else to freak out about, that my wife delivered twins on Saturday night! Fortunately the Brewers losing streak started on Friday night, or I'd have to have some words with the boys!

They were 33 weeks along at the time, so they're still in the NICU but they're actually doing very well and progressing fine at the moment. And all this hospital time has kept me from seeing to much of this horrible baseball too!

Avery is not happy to hear about another Brewer's loss;

Elliot would pull his hair out if he could;

Wow! Congratulations! BF.net clearly has turned into a baby factory -- who's up tomorrow?

Handsome young lads, at that!

Well, maybe the boards were down for a day about nine months ago.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Congratulations times two, pretend!! First bit of advice - the cheapie diapers work just as well as the expensive ones for at least the first year. With twins, you'll need to be "economical" in that area.

I think Luke is right -- Ryan is on-deck -- so who is in the hole?

Nothing like a backdoor double entendre to class up a thread.

Congratulations!

My wife is at 37 or 38 eight weeks, and is doing every "trick" to finally have the baby.

We're out of tricks, my wife is 40 weeks on Sunday and this is our third so we are wondering what the hold up is with this kid.

Congrats! Wish I had something like those little guys to take my mind off of baseball as well. Put a glove on their hands (and a bat) as soon as you get them home http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Is it a girl. I have found girl babies to be problematic.

Could be:

-waiting for a Prince home run

-waiting for a win

-waiting for more than two runs scored in a game

-is just plain comfortable and doesn't want to come out

-like FTJ said, is a girl

Anyway, best of luck to you RyDogg66

Nothing like a second double entendre describing one.

Wow, someone has their mind in the gutter.

You can at least double that tally. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif Yes, yes you have. Iirc, they get called 'the dark side'.

Well, 9 months ago would have been August. And we all know how well August went for the Crew...

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

Yeah, add me to the list of gutter minds.

As for who's next, it's RyDogg, then drezdn, then, umm who? Maybe the babies will stop for a while. Actually, if the Brewers keep playing like the are the number of babies from members of brewerfan.net will sky-rocket within the next 9-12 months.

Ya, if August in the current reasoning, I don't want to see what January/February is going to look like around here! :D

Thanks for the kind words everyone and all the best to RyDogg and drezdn!

Congrats - they look great! My wife and I had twin boys 2 years ago. They were born at 30 weeks but did fine and got out of the hospital after 6 weeks.

One bit of advice is that for the middle of the night feedings, the rule of "Never wake a sleeping baby" does not apply for twins. When one wakes up, after he is done feeding, wake the other up. You have to try and get them on the same schedule so that you and your wife can get blocks of 2-3 hours sleep. My wife actually managed to eventually breast feed both at the same time to speed things up!
