Italian won the sausage race.

 

Started close but he ended up winning by a fairly big margin.

I've been pondering something. Was this just a display of the potent Cubs offense that everyone's been talking about, or was it more a matter of Dave Bush being terrible for that one inning?

The first inning was an indication that the Cubs can hit Bush when he is throwing BP. They do have some decent sticks, but they pretty much disappeared when Bush righted himself.

 

Of course, I am viewing the world through Brewer colored goggles.
