Batting order rule question

I've been trying to come up with a way to take advantage of batting out of order for a while and I think I finally have it. Here is the situation and please tell me where I'm wrong or point out any flaws.

Bottom of the 7th, Brewers are at home and up 3-1. Ben Sheets is pitching a great game, has a low pitch count and been dominating all day. He is set to lead off the inning in the 9 spot. Instead Rickie Weeks come up the bat. Weeks gets a hit. The other team notices the mistake and Weeks is called out for batting out of order. Weeks would be next up so he is up again but with one out. My theory is that since Sheets is an automatic out anyway why not take a chance that the other team doesn't notice the mistake. Also this saves a pinch hitter and the bullpen as Sheets can continue to pitch.

Did I apply the rule correctly? Do you think this is worth a try some time?

There's not a chance in the world that Weeks would make it up to the plate batting out-of-order.

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

That makes no sense to me - it's more of a chance for an out with Weeks going up there first. Opposing Teams/Umpires are not going to miss this. So having Rickie going up there and getting out for sure makes no sense then sending Sheets up there who may once and a blue moon get one base - by the rules.

The only way it might work is if the public announcer is in on the plan and announces Rickie Weeks to the crowd.
