Cubs lead the Cards 1-0 in the 3rd off a DeRosa Homer.

Theriot singles in a run(men now on 1st and 2nd), it's now 2-0 in the 5th.

The Red Birds get 2 in the 6th as Rick Ankiel Homers, Pujols doubles(then steals third) and scores off of a ryan ludwick double.

 

Going into the 7th, it's tied up 2-2.

Aramis Ramirez with another HR in a big spot to give the Cubs a 4-2 lead. It is unbelievable how often he comes up money for the Cubs.

And Ramirez stares at his home run that clears the fence by a few feet. I'd love to see that guy take a 100 MPH fastball in the ribs.

Looks like Kerry Wood is going to blow this game. He looks wild even on his IBB pitches.

I tell ya what, the best thing about this whole game is watching how excited Pujols is getting in that dugout. He's like a 10 year old kid!

Cards win in the 9th. Hopefully one of those "devastating" losses that send the Cubs in a losing spiral. Probably not though.

Nice!!! Our playoff chances will take care of themselves--it's just fun to watch the Cubs lose like that, especially to the Cardinals!!!
