Got out of it only giving up 1 run...nice. It could've been much worse, and at least the Cards are losing early too. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Very nice inning from Bush after the rough first. Quintanilla never took the bat off his shoulders that AB.

I hate playing against pitchers with 6+ eras. We have such a bad record against those guys it seems.

Ueck's talking about how Boras has said that Barry Bonds will be ready to play in 10 days and that he (Boras) can't believe that no one has shown any interest. Ueck then said "it might be the perjury and obstruction of justice trials he's about to face" completely deadpan.

Spectacular.

The thought of being shut down in back to back games at home by Rusch and JDLR made me throw up in my mouth...

In other news, Cards down 4-1 and Cincy just tied up the scrubs at 1

Classic. Gotta love Uecker!

The good part about today's game not being on TV is we don't have to hear Bill Schroeder talk about how hard it is to be a back-up catcher whenever Mike Rivera does something of note on the field. I imagine Rock would say something like "Well, it's hard to get a read on the pitcher when you don't get to play all that often" after that strikeout to end the inning.

FYI, Bonds agent is a different Borris. A Jeff Borris.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

Nice running Rickie.

Let's take a few pitches now. JDLR always melted if you took pitches.

Jim updates re AllStar: Corey's lead is narrowing. Lot of New Yorkers plugging Wright.

ATTENTION BREWERS FANS

Jim Powell just said that word has come in that David Wright has pulled very close to Hart in the All Star voting. Only 2 hours left. So vote, vote, vote!

You'd think ESPN could update the pic of JDLR. It's kinda weird that a "Brewers" pitcher is pitching to Hardy.
