Capuano has a 2.58 ERA in his 19 quality starts and an 8.54 ERA in the other seven. Capuano is 0 - 1 this season at PNC, posting a 9.0 ERA.

Duke has surrendered a league-high 29 runs in the first inning. Duke is 1 - 0 with an ERA of 3.52 against the Brewers at home. His last outing at Miller Park resulted in only 2.1 innings of work giving up 6 ER and a sweltering ERA of 23.14.

A win today and a 4-2 homestand puts the Crew at 4 under .500 with 36 games to play. Then, they'd only have to finish 20-16 to finish .500!

Here's a fun (and depressing) fact of the day. Since the begining of June, the first 4 batters in todays lineup have combined to hit 7 homeruns.

Would having Cirillo lead off be a crazy idea? I realize speed is ideal for a leadoff hitter, but heck, we don't have anyone with speed anyway. At least he gets on base with regularity.
