Liquor Stores Near Vegas Strip?

I am going to Vegas in August and staying at the MGM. We are looking to get a case of beer just so we have something in the rooms is there a store near the strip we can walk to or something in the hotel where we won't have to pay a ton. Thanks!

You can get beer at just about any gas station here in Vegas 24 hours a day, there are a few near the MGM. If you would rather go to a grocery store, the one I go to is actually ~20 blocks east of the MGM right on Tropicana (The MGM is Las Vegas Blvd & Tropicana), it's called Albertsons.

 

There are tons of little liquor stores all over town in little strip malls. You won't have a hard time finding a place to buy beer.

We usually hit up the Gold Coast for our in room liquor needs, it's cheap cheap cheap

There is a liquor-store/souvenir shop kitty-corner from New York-New York at the end of a strip mall. That's where we'd stop and pick up some silo cans for our walk down the strip. The prices were reasonable...much better than the $5.00 for a 12 oz. bottle of Miller Lite in a lot of the bigger casinos. A lot of the smaller casinos have a special on beer for around $1.00 a bottle/glass, but that won't help you much in your room.

I believe there's one across the strip from Mandalay Bay - next to McDonald's.

Ive been to that one next to Mc D's. It provides a fine service.
