Watching Suppan pitch with a lead is just like watching Vargas last year pitch with a lead. You're up three runs, attack the damn hitter, you can't let Pence/Erstad/Ausmus/Wolf beat you.

Do we have someone we can platoon Suppan with?. Like, Suppan pitches on the 5th Tuesday of every month that begins with "D." Then the other half of the platoon can pitch all the other games.

Ned must be trying to save the bullpen because as usual Suppan is starting to struggle by the 5th inning.

 

That makes so much sense with the guy with three consecutive complete games pitching tomorrow.....
