What no thread talking about the Cubs losing to the Bayless Pirates at home?

 

I mean I was sure there would be something about how this means the Brewers are the worst team in the NL Central.

Even when the Cubs make their inevitable 9th inning comback in the game, this and the Brewers series is further proof that I should never, ever, ever bet on baseball. Worst idea in the world. I would have lost my pants had I bet on any of the last five Cubs games.

I've been following the game, it looks like the cubs got so pumped up for the brewers series there is a letdown going on.

Not just shutout by anyone...a guy who's been in the minors all year.

Griffey wearing #17 looks more odd to me than him wearing a Sox jersey.

 

Sox up 2-0 in 6th and Griffey has both RBI.

 

Despite my dislike of the Sox way back, I'm rooting for them in the AL for three reasons:

 

1. Cub fans don't like the Sox. More reason for me to root for them.

2. I'd like to see Griffey play in a World Series.

3. Many will disagree, but I love listening to Hawk.

Geez, Ryan Ludwick with 2 more HR tonight. STL leads Philly 6-3 in 8th. Too bad, this was a Hamels start.
