What a heartbreaking loss. Blown saves are always tough, but we really needed this game after the Twins series and with Arroyo on deck tomorrow.

How is it not? This was the homestand to make a little hay. Now we have to win 5 of 6 just to finish @ .500 before the break. HUGE LOSS TODAY, IF IT IS.

Indeed. All of this booing is painful to hear. And I also agree that his career may bear a stark resemblence to that of Dan Kolb's if he doesn't get his slider figured out and soon.

Paticularly since his fastball doesn't move and it doesn't matter how fast it is in the majors hitters can hit fastballs.

I don't see an obvious indicator on Gameday.

 

(Setting aside for the moment the basic irritation that there will be a bottom of the 9th.)

The thing that really sucks is I'm in second in my fantasy baseball league and I"m playing the guy who is in first and I have Turnbow and he has Griffey. Not a great start to the fantasy week.
