It was Clark at 2nd...

 

And Miller's play wasn't a running error. In that situation he has to go to either make the fielder chose to play for him, or for the double play. If he stays put, they get two outs and we get nothing either way.

That's not a base running error. Yost decides if the runner should run from 3rd. It stays out of the DP and keeps the inning alive.

The manager doesn't decide in that situation. The runner on third has no choice but to run in order to stay out of the double play. The only thing worse than making an out in a run-down is to stand at third and let the other team turn two.

The Baseball Gods are deliberately taunting us by putting runners at the corners with 2 outs but then having nothing out of it. They love to see us get ours hopes up and then crush them.
