Hey, Laynce Nix can make contact. I'll be.

It would be nice to at least get 1 back here.

Well the last time I was at a Brewer game Laynce Nix hit a 2 run homer. Maybe it will happen tonight.

Close enough.

Since the Allstar break Sheets has:

Barely made it through 5 innings against the crappy Giants

Got beat by the AAA Braves

Lost to the crummy Padres

Fell apart against the Astro Juggernaut.

He did beat the powerhouse Nationals, though.

1. Agree

2. The same game where the Brewers scored 0 runs. 6ip 2er still a quality start.

3. Gave up 3 runs in 6.2 innings against Jake Peavy. Offense scored 2 runs for him that game.

4. A couple bad pitches. But yeah.

5. So what, that doesnt count? The Nats are still a MLB team. Right?

What about his great game against Stl?

Blum is the new Jack Wilson?

Or you can think of it as: Bill Hall is to the Reds as Geoff Blum is to the Brewers.

This isn't exactly a new occurrence that he's become a Brewer killer. He hit a game winner against the Crew in San Diego either last season or the one before and I've always recognized him as a pain in our ass.

Since CC joined up. the Brewers are 3-4 in Sheets' starts (pending tonight's outcome) and Sheets is 1-4 in decisions. So it could be 3-5/1-5, and his ERA has seen an appreciable jump, even with a CG shutout figured in. This on the team with the second best record in the NL.

Our offense scores 9 runs last night and then they absolutely poop their pants tonight with RISP. Frusturating and typical. And then Shouse gives up a leadoff double.

If we're still complaining about Ben Sheets, don't forget his merry-go-round of base hits against the Cubs. Not complaining, just saying.

I can't believe it.. Why does kendall call for a 2 seam FB with a 1-2 count....come on

It was supposed to be outside and Sheets put it on a tee.

Sheets must feel like a mouse in that dugout next to Sabathia.....talk about pitchers going in different directions.
