I am all for Jenkins being moved down in the lineup to sort things out, but tell me there isn't a better option than Koskie in the 3-hole.

 

Yost's infatuation with the left-right-left-right thing is getting out of control and I don't usually criticize Yost.

 

I would rather see Hall in the 3-hole or Fielder (but I think they are still trying to protect Fielder a bit). Just my two cents.

 

This post was started before Koskie's hit, but I still stand by my opinion.

How are the Reds second in the league in errors with this scorer? There have been 3 plays in this series that were ruled hits that should have been errors.

With that said, are the Brewers really tightening up their D or are we getting lucky? Rickie certainly seems better in the field. Not sure if that is truly the case but I hope that it is. All I can hope is that Cincy takes over as the team with the most errors sooner rather than later.

So far, Villanueva doesn't seem too fazed about being a 22 year old AA player suddenly starting in the MLB on national television. Hope he keeps it up.
