This is the 2006 Brewers. Not the 1996 Brewers.

So far I'm seeing the 1996 Brewers at the plate.

Well, maybe not, but I told you this guy was filthy when he gets the ball over the plate. He's gonna be another Santana/Pedro.

I guess the Twins weren't kidding about Liriano being on a pitch count. I can't say I mind him leaving the game after only 5 innings/68 pitches.

Why was Davis batting at 98 pitches?

When it comes to Doug Davis, Yost turns into Dusty Baker...Davis is on a strict 140 pitch pitch-count tonight http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Ugh.

So that's what it's like to not come through in the clutch. I've kinda forgotten that feeling over the last week. Yep, it still sucks.

Not sure what it is but I don't really feel the Brewers mojo tonight. Hope I'm wrong.

Hmmm... starting to look familiar.. keep the starter in 1 extra inning and they tire and have trouble throwing strikes...

Is Wise on the DL?

We may need to file a missing person report.

Someone on another forum said that Schroeder has already told us that the American League doesn't steal a lot of bases. Please say it isn't so. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I agree about the mojo.. so far:

- Brady's baserunning blunder

- lots of Brewer K's

- Carlos not diving on a pop up

- Rickie with 2 errors (I could care less what the scorer called them)

- 3 Brewer Double Plays

- Only 4 Brewer hits

and most importantly only a couple of people on the IGT : )

tough to get excited..

I normally defend Ned but what is up with his pitching changes the last week? The only thing he has gotten right is when to bring in DLR..

Its fairly simple, the pitchers spot is up next inning and Ned hates having to pull a relief pitcher for a pinch hitter. So a tired Davis goes back out.
