anyone else listening to the yankee-boston game? i can not stand listening to the woman who works for the yankees.

This is the third time in a row on the non-game thread that I've jinxed a pitcher into having a terrible inning after commenting on how great they were doing. Armas just got pulled after loading the bases with nobody out.

Sox are crushing and this woman announcing is driving me nuts. She says something and the play by play guy explains why that's wrong......i think they need to invest as much in the radio team as they do in some of their bench players.

I only heard on radio....but sounds like Bernie Williams got tossed for 'throwing' his batting helmet somewhere near the ump.

Phillies just beat the Mets in the bottom of the 9th. Abreu came up with the bases loaded, 2 outs, and the score tied, and Heilman commited an error`. All of this according to Gamecast.

that would help the Yankees immensely. Williams is toast and the Yanks have better DH options (namely, Carlos Pena and Andy Phillips. Or, pretty much anyone at all in AAA.). Or, they could make a trade and easily upgrade the easiest to upgrade position there is in baseball. Instead, they are content to have a guy with a .307 on-base and .317 slugging % get the majority of the DH at-bats. That spot is killing them, I don't understand why they won't address it.
