I'll stay up and watch that Houston-Giants game, I love late-night baseball.

What hurt even worse about yesterday's loss was that the Stros managed to pull out the win in 12.

One week into the season, I'm not going to worry too much about what the Astros, Cardinals, and Cubs do on days when the Brewers lose. But, that's just me.

I'm not sure if this is appropriate here, but Sheets worked a scoreless one-hit first inning in Nashville's game in Des Moines.

Big Ben with a 2nd inning line drive single of his own.

Nelson Cruz hit a 2-run homer in the 1st inning. Game is 3-0 Sounds in the bottom of the 2nd.

Thru 2 innings, Sheets has thrown 30 pitches (19 strikes) and has allowed 1 hit and no walks while strking out 3.

Edit: Sorry, I'll put the rest of my comments in the minor league thread.

Yeah, because, of course, the games this early don't count towards the final record.

Anyway, I wasn't flagellating myself over it, it just kinda stinks.

Flagellating doesn't start until late June, at least!

Is there a Silver Slugger award for pitchers?

Bronson Arroyo and Mark Mulder are in a running contest to see who can outslug the other.

I love seeing people hit home runs against the Cubs, especially when it's the pitcher.

OH MAN!

His line: 0 IP 4 H 5 R 5 ER 1 BB.

Now Jacque Jones has left the game for an unknown reason.

Seriously though, the Reds can mash and the wind is blowing out.

I love seeing the scrubs get destroyed like this. I only wish it would happen every day.

Now if the Brewers take three or more of the games remaining on this road trip it'll be a pretty good week.

Listing to sports radio here in Houston today, they were saying there is a lot of rain in the bay area today, so doesn't look to good for the Astro's Giants tonight.

The Stros did get washed out, they'll play two on Thursday.

The Pirates are up 7-6 in the bottom of the 7th against LA.

Hafner has his 5th of the year and CLE looks like they'll push their streak to 6 games.

Reds have 4 hits and 4HR and Dunn has gone deep twice.....yep that is the Glendon Rusch I remember

Yeah, I caught those highlights last night. I hope Glendon didn't hurt his neck or torso by repeatedly whirling around to watch those balls fly.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
