Ed Sedar on Fire (Pants that is)

I just found this on Brew Beat, the Brewers blog on MLB.com. Ed Sedar's pants caught on fire during the 8th inning on Monday night in Pittsburgh and didn't know until Jeff Suppan noticed it. Haha I think that would have been hilarious to see; here is a picture of the aftermath!

I have heard of hot-footing someone as a prank in the dugout, but never hot pantsing. I am guessing that his reaction was fairly priceless.

I was wondering what caused the fire. Apparenty he stood too close to a portable heater.

I laughed after reading this for quite awhile last night. He didn't actually know he was on fire - Suppan smelled it before Sedar felt it. Unreal. Also, McCalvy's observation "Thank goodness Suppan doesn't have a cold!"
