True...but you could argue at least 4 of those were on the missed DP. Not sure about the double either. Our D the last few years has piled up some added stress on our pitchers. I sure hope we don't go down that road again.
It doesnt matter how he gets to 39 pitches, hes still thrown 39. His fault or not. I wasnt saying anything bad, just that it appears itll be a short outing.

How close was that one that Gamel hit to leaving the yard?

Caught a step or two from the wall. Sounded pretty good off the bat and hung up there a long time.

Thanks for the details on the Thurston "double" phx. As far as the Cards announcers go, I guess what we really need is a "true leader" like TLR to show us class by getting DUI's and allowing rampant steroid abuse to go on in the clubhouse

Watching the Brewers was so much more fun a week or so ago when everything was clicking and it felt that we could come back from any deficit. Now it feels like this two run lead is insurmountable. Lets get it going offense!

The Cardinal announcers are the disrespectful ones...disrespectful to the Milwaukee Brewers. It'd nice to see that comment that is so disrespectful to Macha and the leaders of the team get back to them.

It looked like he snuck his hand in and should have been called safe. Gamel made the tag high but the ball beat the runner so we got the call.

Frank Cat!

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

Am I the only one worried about Cat having a good game against a righty? It worked out today but I think it was the dead wrong choice.

The thing about Hart (and Bill Hall for that matter) is that against righties, it's like watching the same at bat over and over. They throw a first pitch fastball for a strike which the batter probably watches sail right by. The second pitch is a fastball low and away for a swinging strike or a foul ball. After that, they pound sliders curveballs low and away until those two hack at it and strike out.
