Didn't see this posted yet, but on the radio this morning Macha said that Suppan will go tomorrow, and that McClung will not start on Thursday. Bush will be ready to go after the break.

Who ya got for Thursday? I have a feeling it will be Parra.

Yovani Gallardo v. Adam Wainwright tonight,

Jeff Suppan v. Todd Wellemeyer tomorrow

Braden Looper v. Joel Piniero on Thursday

With the day off yesterday, they probably just keep everyone on their normal rest, so they don't have to deal with the 5th starter until Saturday, at which point I'd guess it will be Parra.

I agree with the above. Plus, they have to figure after McGehee's performance vs. his old team over the weekend that Soup and Loop will toss back to back shutouts vs. the Cards.

The problem is that they have to fill thursday and friday unless Burns gets another start.

Burns-Parra-Yovani over the weekend? I'm OK with that. I'd rather they throw their best available starters against the Cardinals.

 

Frankly, I'm ecstatic no Brewer pitchers are on the All Star team. They all need a rest!

Well, Parra would be scheduled to start for Nashville again tomorrow, so I guess we'll find out what they're thinking then. Obviously if he starts tomorrow, he's not starting Saturday.

The bigger question mark for the Crew will be who starts in the Dodgers series on Friday & Saturday. I agree with the Burns-Parra (or Dillard, etc.)-Yo rotation. That way Seth is ready to mop up for whoever blows up on Friday or Saturday. Getting wins on the Yo starts would be huge, then maybe we split the Soup/Loop starts. I'd take 3-3, even 2-4 won't kill us. They just have to hang in there and hope the ship turns post-ASB.
