Brewers trade: Kevin Mench & Ben Hendrickson

Royals trade: Esteban German & prospect

 

German could play center & leadoff. He hit .326 with .422 obp in 279 at bats, he can steal a few bases. I think he is a bad defender though.

 

Mench could DH for them.

After the year he had last year, it would take more than Hendrickson and Mench to acquire German alone...

I'd love to add German, but targeting Kansas City's advanced prospects or pre-arby big leaguers is rather pointless.

Anyone think Teahen could be had since they have a stud in Alex Gordon at 3b in their system, AA last year and far better numbers than Braun. Or would they just move one to 1b? Probably cost to much?

The Royals need young talent. I think Sweeney's contract is up after this year and Tehan might already be a better player than Sweeney.

 

I can't see them shipping Tehan out or us having space for him.
