Some Phillies minor-leaguers pulled from lineup today, SI speculating that Cliff Lee deal may be in works (since Blue Jays apparently still insisting on Drabek in a Halladay deal)

I would love to get Lee, even if it meant giving up Gamel.

I would love to get him to if we didn't suck so much. Even if we got him I have no reason to believe that we would make the playoffs so what is the point? If we could get him w/o Gamel or Escobar than maybe.

Either the Indians were dumb and didnt ask for enough or the Blue Jays are being unrealistic. By all accounts the package the Indians got is no where near what the Blue Jays were asking for. Yet you would think the value of Lee & Halladay aren't really all that different. Both have been similary productive and both are signed for next year. So either the Cleveland or the Toronto GM comes out looking like a fool.
