I wouldn't mind taking a gamble on him. I'm not sure what it would take to get him and even with how bad he's been, I'm not sure Cleveland would move him because of their pitching problems.

I think they'd move him because of his contract

Wow. I can't imagine anyone, outside maybe SD or SEA (extreme pitcher's parks) taking a chance on him, and then, they'd have to rid themselves of a bad contract to bother.

I'd be happy to take a gamble on Carmona if he were a bargain bin FA, but I'd honestly rather stick with Looper when you consider that they'll cost the same.
