i know this could be in the Drew topic but rumor has it that the Cubs has offered Drew a 3 yr 40 mil deal.

 

That is a lot of money to be offering a injury prone outfielder

Drew makes tons of sense for the Cubs. They need another left handed bad badly (Jones in their only one) and Drew would put up some numbers in Wrigley.

If Drew stays healthy he is a good signing for them. He is also a pretty good CF if i remember right so that would fill the hole there. Like I have said before i am not going to put anything past the cubs. They are in a win it now mode and are going to go for it.

Oh how nice it would be though to finish better than the Cubs again with our homegrown kids spending $60 million versus their $120 million. We have done it for two years, now one more for the hat trick.

 

Now we just have to finish not only above them, but everyone else for once. Oh how nice it will be when I get that playoff ticket order form in September..........cross fingers......again.....
