Has anyone seen the promotion Burger King and the Simpsons are doing? Go to: www.simpsonizeme.com and upload a photo of yourself. Your photo will then be converted to show what you would appear like in a Simpsons cartoon.

 

The problem? I have yet to get it to work for me. Every time I've tried, I get an error message saying it's too busy. I just tried at 6:23 a.m. CST, and got the same message. I can't imagine it's too busy right now. Has anyone gotten it to work for them?

I tried it too, but it gave me an error message as well. I figured it was because of a busy background in my picture.

i got it work once, its my avatar. Since then i upload a photo and it counts down from over 1000 and when it gets to 1 nothing happens.

They had a story about The Simpsons Movie/Burger King on Nightline last night and the Simpsonize Me thing was discussed. I'm guessing it's going to stay busy for a little while now with all of the people that watched the show coming to check it out.

I think its better to go to simpsonsmovie.com and just create yourself with the create an avatar thing they have. It can come pretty close to how you look. And once you save it as a JPEG you can edit it in Fireworks or Photoshop.

I've had problems at times with it too, and have noticed that the site doesn't like Firefox as much as it likes Internet Explorer. Try using IE and you may have a little more success...
