Typically, if the outfielder can get to it, it's his ball, and it did look like Gomez was calling for it, too. But I don't know what sort of things they talk about or work on, so maybe it was Escobar's ball to catch.

No doubt, Narveson has pitched great but seems out of gas. And I would hate to see Hoffman come in and blow this game. Give the 9th to Axford.
