Wow, I don't believe this.

 

I told you about Chad Cordero's baby daughter passing from SIDS, and tonight I was informed of another tragedy in the baseball community.

 

Perhaps you remember Marty Cordova, who played for the Twins. His teen daughter was seriously injured in a car accident the other day...she is in a coma.

We did it for the Corderos, so please...post here with any message to the Cordova family...I will forward it to Marty.

I had a family member in a come for about 2 months. Its not easy at all. Thankfully she woke up alert and like nothing ever happened. I pray that you will be so fortunate. God bless.

Ashley is out of her coma! She is now in the "baby steps" phase of recovery, she lifted her left leg for the physical therapist, etc. At this point, it's about her brain matching thoughts to actions, and slowly progressing.

That's wonderful news! (though mere words can't truly capture the relief you must be feeling) We'll hope for continued progress.
