Agreed. STOP sitting Hart!! He's an everyday, all-star caliber starter, not a platoon role player, which would be overstating Kotsay's role. Using these ancient sample sizes of 20-30 AB's from when Hart was a rookie and Kotsay and Vasquez were actually good, to determine who starts today, is just insane.
But Kots is so damn gritty how can he not play at least a few times a week.

On a side note, did Corey have food poisoning last week or was he just sick? If it was food poisoning that takes a lot out of you. You don't eat anything for about 3 days and you fell wekk and drained for a week or two after. RRR might just be playing it safe since we have a long stretch of games here with no off days. Hate to abuse Hart and cash him out if he still isn't at full strength.

Lucroy is 3 for his last 27 at bats (.111 avg). With 2 RBIs, 11 strikeouts, and 0 walks. There nothing wrong with bumping him down a little until he finds his swing again.

I wish Hart was in the lineup, but it's tough to judge that decision. Hart's the only starter on the pine so it's not like RR's going with a "B squad" lineup or anything... he has been sick lately maybe he needs to rest up.

I'm just delighted to see that RR has apparently decided to exclusively use Morgan vs. RHP.

It has been a whole season of crap Casey McGehee in the 5 hole. Why wasn't he bumped down after 27 bad ABs until he finds his swing.

Looks like I can finally catch the Brewers on MLB's FGOTD! No blackout restrictions here in Chapel Hill other than for Baltimore and Washington. I'm looking forward to catching the first few innings before the Canucks try and take game three.

As for the lineup, I really don't mind Lucroy down in the order for now, given his recent struggles. Seeing Kotsay again is frustrating, I was finally thinking Ronnie Boy was over his man-crush on gritty ol' Mark.

If you're going to give Hart off, at least help the defense out by putting Gomez in.

Who would bat 2nd then? Gomez? Kotsay? Lucroy is in a slump. If Hart needed a day off, I'm glad it's during a game that Morgan is playing.

I wish I knew, especially once Hart got hot. Doesn't mean he's wrong in doing it to Lucroy though.

And don't forget that Lucroy got hit in the side of the head with a bat yesterday. Batting him in the 8 hole might save him the effort of an extra AB.

But not starting Hart makes me a little upset.

I kinda wish the Brewers were off today so I could just focus on the draft.

Coshun mentions Ax is on his way home as his wife goes in to labor.

Excellent timing there by junior since he isn't available today anyway. Nice when things work out like that.

Wow, Hultzen just went #2. Don't think a lot of people saw that coming.

Looks like he is just as shocked. Definitely didn't think that would happen.

Just a big smile opportunity when the Brewers score with "bat on ball" baseball.

I'm also happy that 3 pitchers have gone 1-3. I've always been a "position player in the 1st round" guy ... I'll like it if one of these top tier fellas can fall to 12.

Also McGehee is looking brutal, he is trying too hard to hit dingers. He needs to focus on walking and going the other way to get out of this season long slump. He is really hurting this team hitting in the 5 hole.
