Seems like McGehee is getting caught looking at strike 3 far too often these days. He always has this "what?!?" look on his face to the ump every time. He doesn't have a clue up there.

If nothing else, we are making Vogelsong work long counts. He's over 40 pitches already (not that their bullpen is anything easy to hit either).

The offense is having much, much better ABs on this road trip than usual. Only 1 hit through the first couple of innings tonight, but they have made Vogelsong throw 43 pitches. I like it.

With this ump, you really shouldn't swing much at all until you have 2 strikes. The single dumbest thing you can do is make an out 3 pitches or less into an AB.
