I'll give Rickie Weeks credit for one thing. It's amazing how he can continue to draw walks despite not being able to get on base by swinging his bat.

Good lord. For all the complaining we do about the injuries, lineups, managing, Rickie or whoever...this team is struggling because the pitching is nowhere near what it was last year. Starting and relieving. Period.

A mere 54 pitches later we're done. I was OK with the walk to Quentin. He's the one guy that can beat you. It was walking Forsyth to bring the tying run up that was the problem. Should have pulled Ax then.

That 9th inning was way more dramatic than it needed to be. Baker went around on the check swing, I have photographic evidence. Winning ugly is better than losing.
