RIP Brad Lesley

Just a quick post to acknowledge the death of former Brewers pitcher Brad Lesley who died yesterday. Lesley pitched in five games for the Crew in 1985 and went on to have a career as an actor as well. RIP.

I was a baseball card collector in those years, so when I read his name, I remembered him as a member of the Cincinnati Reds - until you pointed it out, I had forgotten Lesley pitched for the Brewers.

 

He was once a big-time prospect in the Reds' chain, but things didn't pan out for him.

Sad news, especially at that young age. I remember hearing about 'The Animal' quite a bit back in the day, tough to believe that he only pitched in 5 games for the Brewers.
