Seeing that the IGTs have been getting a lot less use as this season winds down, I'm just going to put up a thread for each series.

Friday Lineup

Aoki RF

Segura SS

Lucroy 1B

Ramirez 3B

Gomez CF

Davis LF

Gennett 2B

Maldonado C

Peralta P

You'd think a guy hitting under .200 on the season would resist the urge to swing away at 3-0 with the bases loaded. Honestly, a good long ride on the bench is deserved for that.

Is there any reason whatsoever to not just trade Ramirez this offseason and bat Lucroy 4th? I mean how clutch has he become?

Big Loss in the Standings. A little breathing room from LA now 3.5 back vs. 1.5 back had Henderson saved it.

I am still a Marco Estrada fan, and I hope he's the #4/5 next season. Good control, solid with the Ks. He's a flyball pitcher in a hitter ballpark, if he went to a Pitcher ballpark, I'd bet he'd post under 3.3ERA as a SP.

My gosh. I watched the replay of the first run Marco gave up. The ball was hit 2 steps to Fransico's right and he broke to cover first base. Shouldn't have been a run, should have been an out.

I don't see the connection between Lucroy hitting well and trading Ramirez.

If the Brewers can make a good deal for Ramirez, then go ahead and trade him. But, they really don't have anyone good to play 3B, and there's nothing wrong with having

several productive hitters in the middle of the lineup. Put Braun, Ramirez, Lucroy, Hart (or some other good hitting 1B) and Gomez in the 3-7 spots and the Brewers could be back to being one of the best offenses in the NL.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The last 162 games, Luc is batting .295 with 23 HR and 97 RBI. That's some outstanding production.

With the pitcher on deck you almost have to give him the green light.

There are pitchers on the team that hit better than Maldonado, albeit not Peralta. Still, you're 3 and 0 and doing nothing on the year. Trying to work for a walk was the best option at that point.

Not a fan of this concept. I know there has been a lot less traffic here lately, but I think doing this will decrease it even more...Just an opinion.
