That is me, though I didn't bring it up at all during todays game. My explanation is that I root for the home teams (Chicago is closer than Green Bay). Another explanation is that I root for things that lose.

That made me laugh. But I have three replies. 1. When I was a kid, the Packers actually played in Milwaukee several times a year when I went to games, so Chicago was not closer. 2. Most people I know in the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area are Brewers fans, not Twins fans, and they're closer to Minnesota. 3. Chicago is in Illinois.

But I can somewhat see your position, even if I disagree with it.

Another week without a drunk thread reply?

I couldn't even watch the game tonight and was pleasantly surprised at the result!

I'm drinking to change our fate!

Sam Adams Light tonight for myself. I had forgotten how much I like this beer. Almost three years without drinking erased a lot of good tastes from my memory.

Yeah, Minutemen are great. That's my favorite song if theirs ("History Lesson - Part II" in case someone else reads this) - I really love that acoustic version that's on "We Jam Econo" at the end. I can't think of a better song that just sums up the entire independent music thing so well. D. Boon was a genius, I'm pretty sure.

I'm not even a huge punk fan, but I really love their sound, and their whole attitude.

I just got done drinking after a big overtime softball game and finally realized that I left my tab open at a bar. I hope I don't have any problems with that tomorrow.

Dude, I wanted to be more drunk... and I seriously thought about this thread for awhile... and I just got home and had about 7 beers and 3 shots of Tequila within 2 hours and then went home and I feel coherently fine. Since I live with my parents, they don't want beer in the house so I am stuck drinking cheerleader beer right now (Bartles and Jaymes Tropical Mango). Well then, I had a bad night out on the town in Racine.

So I don't go out a lot. I've been stewing about my ex for the last year and decided to go out after work tonight. I got a girl to buy me a drink, give me a lap dance (she did that on her own), and give me her number. Who's #1!!!!!!!!!!!! I am!!!! Wait, I didn't bring her home, cause I'm not that guy, maybe I should have--NO!! that would be bad, NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Damn, the bar is closed!!! Wait I've got her number, ahhhh screw it...

Crap, she still has my tie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
