They already have Willis but I would have no problem with Zito on a minor league deal.

 

Thought they see Willis as potential reliever. It wouldn't hurt having one vet in the AAA rotation for a couple months if a need arises and he's throwing well then come June 1 just let him go if he's not.

They did say they wanted a veteran as a swingman or some such comment. I agree with the minor league invite only.
