Therapy dogs for the home

I was wondering if there was a service that brought dogs into people's homes to hang out for an hour or so. I know there are therapy dogs for hospitals and rehab clinics but is there an in-home service?

I think that "an hour or so" defines a therapy dog. A service dog performs specific tasks that require extensive training with his master. A therapy dog's job is to make people feel good. He can become a permanent family member, or he can visit for an hour and go on his merry way.

Yeah therapy dog....just hangs out for an hour once a week and then leaves. TDI gave me a form to fill out that requires doctor's signature. Thanks for the tip!
