Whoa, this kind of came from nowhere -- looking for a multi-inning reliever in Cravy for now, it seems...

RHP Corey Knebel and INF/OF Jason Rogers have been optioned to Triple-A @skysox. RHP Tyler Cravy and RHP David Goforth have been recalled.

 

Not like Jason Rogers will get any AAA 3B reps with Matt Dominguez on the Sky Sox roster.

 

Knebel has seen quite a bit of action, maybe just a chance to dial back his appearance count for the moment.

Very curious moves. Rogers getting AB's to prepare if Lind is dealt? What's Cravy's role? Is Lohse about to be sent packing? Davis returning in a few days, maybe Broxton or Lohse goes then? Knebel down for more regular late inning work? Deal for K-Rod in works?

Really curious. Knebel has been pretty solid. Broxton has been a straight up dumpster fire. I realize there's economics involved in how the roster is managed, but yeesh.

 

I hope it's like MH said, and it's just a tool they're using to manage Knebel's innings a little bit.

I agree about fresh arms but where do you play Rogers 3rb no and at first they have Clark.

as for any pending moves i doubt you see any thing to after the all star game.
