That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

David Stearns will join Brian and Bill during the third inning.

Lopez regularly hitting 94, touching 96 in the first inning.

Nelson, Peralta, Lopez, Houser, Hader. Then on the back end, Jeffress, Knebel, Magnifico, Barrios. In a couple of years the Brewers will have a bunch of guys who can bring it.

Fun fact, Kevin Quackenbush received the smallest signing bonus of any player picked in the first 10 rounds of the 2011 draft.

Bubba Starling got $7.5M and is toiling in AA. Quackenbush got $5000 and is in the majors.

Craig's pretty excited about López. He says "It's gonna work."

Turned on the game to watch Lopez.

Saw Logan Schafer trot to the plate in the top of the 1st.

Got pissed and turned it off.

Absolutely maddening.

Invest in a DVR. Makes viewing pretty much anything so much better.

The ump was calling a pretty tight strike zone and squeezing both pitchers. I think that was the cause of the some pitches being left right over the middle of the plate.

That said, Lopez looked good. His curve is an MLB quality pitch. His change looks adequate, and his fastball sat right about 94.
