Counsell told us something that already was apparent. C Andrew Susac likely to open season on DL. Hasn’t played in two weeks.

if that happens, he'll be the first brewer to be placed on the 10-day disabled list.

yesterday, susac was activated from the 10-day disabled list and optioned to colorado springs. if he spends at least 20 days optioned this year, he will enter 2018 spring training with one minor league option remaining.
