Jeffress is officially on the trade block apparently. The way his season has gone, he shouldn't cost much and honestly he can't be much worse than what we have. I'm just not sure TX will deal him back to us for pennies on the dollar.

 

Saw someone comment on MLB Trade Rumors to send "Free" Wily Peralta for JJ. Might as well try..

 

JJ has a track record of success for the Brewers and issues playing for anyone else.

Wily just needs to go.

 

A change of scenery might do both some good.

Padres have been getting offers of teams' #15-20 limited ceiling prospects for Hand. He's got 2 years team control beyond this season. There's got to be something the Brewers could get done here without giving up something outrageous.

Brad Hand actually sounds like the perfect target. Let's get a solid bullpen guy that is controllable and won't cost us an arm and a leg. If the market is that stale Stearns should get it done.

A guy that I really like is Mychal Givens...every talks about Britton but this guy is solid. He's young and controllable.
