Definitely helping out his "trade chip" status. He's been one of the most pleasant surprises of the early minor league slate of action. The corner OF market may be horrible, but there is always going to be high value in solid defensive centerfielders who have pop and can get on base. Being that Ray is already going to be 24 this year, and Cain has a 5-year deal, it's hard to see him as the CF of the future. So he's currency.
