Dude, what is up with all of these predictions?? I just read them, and thought..."what if this guy is some sort of prophet of baseball and can see the future of all minor league players..." Quit it. You're really creeping me out. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif have a nice day.

I'm just trying to add a little fun to the draft picks. Sometimes with each draft, you get a sense whos gonna be a surprise, a bust, or just a ho-hum 5-6 year minor leaguer. I'm just giving you guys my take on each player...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

Your take on each player? How can you give your take on these guys that you have never seen play simply by probably reading their scouting reports and guessing. How do you get a sense of how guys will do?

OK guys, how bout we make a real prediction.

Glendon Rusch: Next week: get's bombed at AAA,

next month: gets released

next year: starts a store that sells only left-handed products like Ned Flanders on the Simpsons.

Bet 5 bucks my prediction's more accurate than this dude'shttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

The Leftorium is still in business too. Glendon Rusch would probably lose his business just like the games he pitches.

My prediction:

If you really want to do this, please, please put them all in one thread. Just edit the title everytime you add a new prediction.

I predict Richie Sexson will be a darn good player.

But, please keep everything in one thread. Nothing wrong with predictions, but real odd ones like these should stick together.

I'll take some advice and keep these in the same thread. Now, come on, have some fun with this.

Are you actually spending time thinking up these predictions, or are they just random numbers? You have almost none of these prospects doing anything substantial in the majors, yet almost all of them are making at least AAA in your fantasyland. The normal prospect path is not for every single prospect to make AAA then fizzle. A lot never get out of A-ball, some never out of rookie ball. I don't know really what the point of this post is, I guess the predictions are more confusing than anything, except for the obvious fact that they are all completely wrong.

I've only predicted for 4 players (rounds 1-4, mind you). I had Palmisano fizzle in high A, Fermaint play briefly in the majors, and I'm sure we can all agree that Weeks and Gwynn will almost definately reach the bigs. If you guys would just let me go on, you would see predictions for guys to be released after this year, and others 2-3 years later.

I am just pulling figures out of the air, but I do go into each one with a mindset of how I think each player will develop. I base it on 14 years of following Brewer drafts, and noting the difference between rounds, years of school, and positions to map out my thoughts.

I know it seems goofy, and it is to some degree. If you guys want me to cease and desist, I will, but I think you guys would enjoy the whole thing as it proceeds.

Thanks

Compared to the drivel that Wellstone's plane was shot down, this is like nuclear physics.

That's why the off topic forum is named as such, because it's a place where incoherent drivel on obscure topics is acceptable.
