Ed Seder

Hey, I have watched the Brewers in person down at Spring training the last two days and noticed that Ed Seder is not coaching 3rd. He may just be working with minor leaguers. Or, did I miss something? Is he still with the team? Is he ill? Does anybody know?

He was coaching on Thursday against the Giants.

They have split squads remember. If you're at a game in Maryvale, any member of the organization can be at a game in Tempe at the same time. They had a front office exec deliver the lineup card to home plate the other day. There's nothing to be read into the presence or absence of anyone in Spring Training. So if you don't see Counsell managing the club on a given day, don't start worrying he decided that the gig just wasn't for him anymore.

I was at the game today (Tuesday) and Seder was back in his normal spot.
