I have to say, the current board is shaping up to give the Packers one of the Safeties early AND I would love it if that's the way it went.

IMHO this draft is very flat through about the 70's in talent.  Adding another pick in that range is more important than dropping from 12 to 32.  Just my opinion.

Edit: Especially for a team like the lions that needs players all over the field.

I think that's a fair take, but I do think there was a top tier in talent through 14-15 or so, and I'd argue that Johnson, etc. was in that level. Might be worth it to get the 3rd swing at it, but that's a good edge guy to pass on who was, IMO, ahead of the next-level edge guys like Karlaftis, etc.
