Very informed and detailed presentation! How absolutely wonderful!

Thoughts:

1) I feel as though I may be one of the only ones who continues to believe Zamora had a reputation as a slick fielder but I have yet to consistently see anything meriting that reputation - presently. As it stands today, I personally value Eduardo Garcia's defense and arm a significant step above. I throw Ethan Murray here too. And both can play SS, I would argue play it better, and have more positional flexibility. Zamora has plenty to prove to me given how last year ended. Honestly, I really just want to see him finish an entire season healthy. Then we can hopefully build. Lots to like, imho, but lots to also give pause.

1) Completely agreed on Noah Campbell and it's wonderful to see the recognition.

2) Fantastic discourse on RHP Carlos F. Rodriguez and adjusting to tacked balls in the Southern League. Extremely informed.

3) @Brewcrew82: details within on why moving Uribe straight to the Bigs, at present, is just not a wise developmental idea. Elite two-pitch mix but, really, needs to continue proving and fine-tuning command. As I have been alluding to. Very detailed discourse on his four-seamer - quite fun. Really agreed on their comments re: body language and temperament on the mound. He can be a bit of a firecracker amd has even showed up umps. He won't get away with that in the Big Leagues.

4) Extremely detailed and accurate presentation on the ongoing Gasser developments. Loved it. Didn't mention the HR's in his most recent Jacksonville were cheap as hyeck (90 EV) and came after two ridiculous dribblers that ate up Dorrian and Alvarez. I tend to agree with Jack on this One: IF he can continue dialing down the walk issues and probably jettisons the change-up we could be looking at a very solid #3 Starter for years to come. That's huge.

5) Wonderful to see people who watch these games agree with @wiguy94and I: INF Eric Brown Jr. is way better in the field than his original scouting report and his 10 errors indicate. Gold glove 2B potential. Very very solid SS amd can sprinkle in 3B in a pinch. His instincts, athleticism, and his quick release play everywhere on the infield dirt left of 1B.

6) Great to see Lara getting his due. What he is doing at 18 yo in Low-A is ridiculously good. Such incredible plate discipline. Incredible reads and jumps in CF. This could be the Brewers lead-off the future.

7) Really love the Glasnow upside comparison for Misiorowski.

8) Not touched on in the Quero discourse re: staying in Double-A vs fast promotion to Triple-A is the massive wealth of fantastic vet catchers already in Nashville.

9) And, missed in the Frelick discourse: he was not playing through an injury. He simply hurt the thumb on a slide. He was struggling because he was struggling - forcing things, weak contact by and large which was new in 2023. He had played a lot baseball at an extremely high level for a long time. I think the lack of a call-up and not making the roster out of ST took a toll. I think starting in a slump caused a snowball effect. I am very excited to see how he returns. This is an injury that may actually be a good reset.

10) Really appreciated the slight brake pedal applied on 2022's slightly over-inflated 'Top Prospect in All of Baseball'. Definitely a Top 5-7 overall prospect but it is a big leap of faith to label him 'generational' until he improves and demonstrates consistently an evolved approach. I think people forget: Acuna was essentially already in the how do we get him on the MLB roster convo at this age. Chourio most definitely is not.

@Mass Haas: This was just a fantastic and unexpected discussion. Instant fan of these guys!

I do think the hype got to be a bit much for Chourio especially after he hit A+ and the results were very good but not special. He has a lot of developing to do, but he has "generational" type tools with his combo of speed/power. 70 grade speed and 70 grade power (107 90th EV for a 19 year old at AA is absolutely absurd) just gets people excited.

I would like the Brewers to try their best to get all of their prospects out of AA. I just don't like the whole tacky-baseball experiment. It seems like every stat should come with an asterisk.

I’m guessing the tacky ball is suppressing offense? And isn’t the Southern League also known for being tough offensively, even before this experiment? Might explain the low batting averages throughout the Shuckers lineup.
