Here are some highlights of Satchell "The Punisher" Norman, who'll turn 21 this later week:

Only 1 of today's 26 scheduled DSL games was completed, with essentially all of the games designated as "Suspended", which typically means that they won't be made up.

DSL Brewers-1 was trailing DSL Guardians Red 1-0 in the top of the 5th inning, but had the bases loaded with 1 out. The teams are scheduled to play again in 10 days' time, so maybe they'll actually finish it up then. Time will tell. LHP Anthony Flores was the starting pitcher having a decent outing, while CF Yophery Rodriguez was 0-for-2 (no Ks) after an extremely rare 0-for-4 day (1 K) on Saturday.

DSL Brewers-2 was trailing DSL Guardians Blue 5-0 in the bottom of the 3rd inning and had not yet recorded a hit. The teams are scheduled to play again in 3 days' time, so maybe they'll actually finish it up then. RHP Bryan Rivera was the starting pitcher somewhat surprisingly getting roughed up in this game.

Love Norman's bat. Troublesome defensive statistical trends in 2023, however:

10 GS as a Catcher. 79 Innings.

2-for-25 CS. 7 PB.

Those are a tad unsightly. I almost wonder if the brass end up using the Tayden Hall path?

Is he actually 5'8 like it says on Fangraphs? Maybe a move to the OF? He seems to be pretty athletic judging by his decent SB numbers.

Fair point there. He is indeed diminutive in height but certainly seems built. 2B? RF? LF? DH? Regardless, the defensive stats at the catcher position leave quite a bit to be desired.
